Union Wages for Weatherization

The wages for stimulus package weatherization jobs will have to match union wages.

The budget office announced today (16 March 2009) that all employees working on projects paid for by the stimulus plan (which includes weatherization projects) must receive union wages, not market wages.  This will make the state money not go as far, but it will encourage people to take the stimulous jobs.
